Artist's Statement
My art serves as a personal visual vessel to encapsulate rich layers of narratives and experiences. I enjoy exploring different modes of visual representation and concepts by combining and juxtaposing multiple techniques into my process by means of digital collage or varying technical approaches within my work. My body of work communicates ideas surrounding identity, gender, psychological experiences, and humor; emotions and thoughts that are virtually impossible to articulate until translated into visual form. I enjoy merging physical and digital concepts and motifs to illustrate often polarizing feelings; a push-and-pull between navigating and attempting to make sense of fluid, ever-changing realities.
